Promech is now tendering for a contract of up to four years through major framework contractors Land & Water. It is hoped that if secured this will enable the continued expansion plans and increase the workforce in 2012

Once finished the new workshop facility will treble the capacity of Promech's existing ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. The new facility has been designed for future expansion in mind and will when complete include designated areas such as the following.
It is also envisaged that as part of Promech Engineering Ltd's ongoing commitment to greener energy production and sustainability it is planning to instal photovoltaic panels on the south facing roof to make use of the available free energy that this can capture. It is without doubt that unless systems such as photovoltaic panels are adopted commercially they will continue to be expensive for private users who would benefit most from their installation. Promech goes from strength to strength in winning contractor of the year 'Safety at Heart Award'. Awarded at a presentation day for demonstrating a high degree of safety awareness in an extremely hazardous environment. The award was presented by Dave Pickering who is the Power station Plant Manager for Spalding Energy company, who's West Marsh Road facility is owned by Intergen UK Ltd.
Promech engineering wins local awards for 'Business of the year 2010' and also 'Growing business of the year 2010'. Promech Engineering beat off stiff competition to win the coveted titles in October 2010.
